Minor en Gènere i Dret

What is a Minor?

A Minor is complementary training on the Degree in Law offered by the Faculty of Law and Economics at UdL in close collaboration with the Dolors Piera Centre for Equal Opportunities and the Promotion of Women at UdL, which allows students to obtain certain competences in this specific knowledge area.

The proposed Minor in Gender and Law arises from the conjunction of two factors:

  1. First, the existence of a group of lecturers from the Faculty of Law and Economics that have introduced the gender perspective into research and teaching in Law or have done research on aspects or issues related to women.
  2. The firm commitment to fight against invisibility and create a culture of awareness of any discriminatory situation, harassment and violence.

The Minor in Gender and Law consists of 30 credits to be gained from the specific offering of optional subjects.

The Minor subjects can be taken in one or more academic years.

Subjects will be taught via a blended learning system during the first and second semester of each academic year.
